EVERYONE CAN HELP

Before Undersea Warriors, my mission to help the Veteran community began with the Panthers Warriors Ice Hockey program.

All of this started when I happened to meet Gabriel "Gabe" Accardi (a US Navy SEAL) at the ice rink. Soon we skated together, became neighbors and good friends. Then Gabe asked; "would I be interested in helping him start a USA Hockey program for disabled Veterans, like he was?"

As a civilian, who did not serve, I was always appreciative of the service of our Veterans. So I jumped at the chance. The magic of it was simple: Veterans and civilians working side by side to help disabled Veterans heal. First it was ice hockey, now it's SCUBA.

Not everyone can serve in the military. But everyone can serve Veterans!

Whether you're a disabled Veteran or not, whether you are SCUBA certified or "not yet" SCUBA certified and you are looking for a recreational activity, join the Undersea Warriors.

Together we will continue Gabe's mission of helping Veterans, now with "Blue Therapy" and camaraderie! You can join the Undersea Warriors by filling out the appropriate application.

We would be honored to have you be a part of the mission!

  • Beneficiary Member

    UNDERSEA WARRIORS BENEFICIARY REQUIREMENTS: To be a beneficiary of the Undersea Warriors, a Veteran must have served in any branch of the US Military, has separated honorably, and have a service related disability with a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Chronic Adjustment Disorder (CAD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Anxiety, Depression and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

  • Non-Beneficiary Member

    *Non-Disabled Veterans and civilian (friend, relative or a certified diver who wants to support Veterans) volunteers are also invited to join the Undersea Warriors as a dive buddy to a qualified Veteran.
