HEALING VETS THROUGH SCUBA
The Undersea Warriors mission is to provide a recreational SCUBA diving therapy program to disabled Veterans diagnosed with certain mental health conditions as a result of their military service.

OUR MISSION
"IMMERSED IN PEACE AND PURPOSE"
We get disabled Veterans in the water. Undersea Warriors funds the training, the certifications and the personal snorkel gear so that Veterans living with service-connected Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Chronic Adjustment Disorder (CAD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Anxiety, Depression and/or Military Sexual Trauma (MST) can become SDI SCUBA certified divers.
Based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, we are a growing network of chapters run by Veterans and civilians side by side. Beyond eligibility, the only requirement is the "DESIRE" to take part.

OUR VISION
Our vision is bigger than a dive program. We see Undersea Warriors chapters across the country, and one day around the world, wherever Veterans in need live.
Each chapter is a home base: local dives, local events and a crew that knows your name. And all chapters come together for shared dives, trips and gatherings, so a Warrior in one town has brothers and sisters in every other.
The water is where it starts, not where it ends. Blue Therapy brings Veterans in. Camaraderie keeps them coming back. Along the way come purpose, new skills, community service, reef restoration and a way back into everyday life, alongside the civilians who dive with them.

WHY SCUBA & WHY UNDERSEA WARRIORS?
Being underwater is peaceful. It brings you into a world most people never see. We call it Blue Therapy.
You do not have to be a SCUBA certified diver to join. You only have to want to become one. It starts with a supervised Try SCUBA Diving class in a training pool. If you decide "THIS IS FOR ME!", Undersea Warriors covers the cost of your Open Water Diver and Enriched Air (Nitrox) certifications and your personal snorkel gear: mask, snorkel, fins and dive boots.
Already SCUBA certified? Join us for Blue Therapy and camaraderie with other Veterans and civilian volunteers. If it has been a while since your last dive, we will start you with a refresher class. It's always safety first.
NO ONE DIVES ALONE. Bring a dive buddy: your spouse, partner, a Veteran buddy, a civilian friend or a relative. If you do not have one, don't stress. We will partner you with one.
